The baffles were put in backwards in these Sapling Evaporator Pans, making them sub-optimal for continuous-flow boiling but first rate for use as a flat pan! The Sapling Evaporator Pan measures 30″ x 20″ x 6″ and is made from 18 gauge stainless steel. Includes a pour-off valve as well as an ALL NEW thermometer port for a 6″ maple syrup thermometer. The thermometer port is in the correct location! Thermometer sold separately. All welds are lead-free. Not as good as our signature pan, but a sturdy, useful thing at a great price!
