Vermont Evaporator Company, LLC (“VEC”) has created this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) to demonstrate its commitment to fully disclosing the information collection and use practices applicable to the vermontevaporator.com website (the “Site”) (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy only covers information collected by VEC through the Services, including any social media platform employed by VEC. By Browsing. As you browse the Site or use the App the Internet protocol (IP) address of your computer, “cookies” (described below) and other standard tracking data VEC uses to evaluate traffic and usage patterns are collected. Such information is aggregated with tracking data from all visitors. If you only browse the Site you are not required to identify yourself or provide any personally identifiable information. If you chose to register with the site or make a purchase, you may be required to disclose personally identifiable information. Please note that VEC does not collect or retain any financial information that you submit during a typical online transaction as VEC has contracted with a third-party vendor to provide this feature; however, if you submit financial information elsewhere on the site, VEC has no obligation to ensure the security or confidentiality of that information.

By User’s Voluntary Submission. When using any feature of the Services that allow for unilateral or multilateral communication between yourself and other users of the Services, you may choose to provide other Personally Identifiable information. If you post Personally Identifiable Information anywhere on the Services, it will be available to third parties and you may receive unsolicited messages from those parties. The information collected by and through the Services may be used by VEC, its divisions, subsidiaries, and affiliates, or other entities that are involved in the operation of the Services for VEC’s purposes.

Business Transfers: The Services, VEC and/or a subsidiary or division of VEC may be sold along with its assets, or other transactions may occur, in which your non-Personally Identifiable Information (i.e., information that is not Personally Identifiable Information) is one of the business assets transferred. In such a case, your non-Personally Identifiable Information, which we have gathered, may be one of the business assets we transfer.
